Verizon US version of Nokia 2.1 will be named 2V

HMD Global has not announced any type of carrier distribution agreement for the Nokia brand so far. But in October, a specific Android Go device leaked, and there was no official news about the issue, but today there are new discoveries. The Verizon special edition of Nokia 2V first appeared on the Internet and is expected to be available in prepaid form. The news side confirmed the previous guess: this is just a renamed Nokia 2.1.

Nokia 2V will debut on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425, paired with the Adreno 308 GPU and 1GB of RAM, pre-installed for the low-end market to install Android Go, and the operating system is more specifically based on the Oreo version, rather than the newer version of the Pie .
The Nokia 2V is equipped with a 5.5-inch 16:9 display, 4000mAh battery, 8GB internal storage, and a camera with 8 megapixels and 5 megapixels.
Regarding the release date of Nokia 2V, there is no official confirmation, and the release of Nokia 9 PureView is expected to begin later this month. HMD Global is expected to take this opportunity to announce a partnership with Verizon.
