Ford will recall more than 950,000 car culprits worldwide

In the past year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced a total of more than 12.32 million vehicles, of which the US model was “out of the box”, with 37% of recalls and 4.58 million vehicles. According to media reports, Ford Motor Company is currently carrying out vehicle recalls worldwide, involving more than 950,000 vehicles, of which 782,000 will be recalled in the United States.

The main reason for the recall of the vehicle was the safety hazard of the Takata airbags used. The airbags were in danger of exploding and ejecting debris. It is reported that the airbags caused at least 23 deaths worldwide .
The recalled models include the 2010 Ford Edge (overseas version of Sharp) and Lincoln MKX, the 2010 and 2011 Ford Ranger (Raptor), the 2010 to 2012 Ford Fusion (North American version of Mondeo) and Lincoln MKZ, 2010 Year and 2011 Mercury Milan (Ford Mercury Milan), and 2010 to 2014 Ford Mustang (Wild Horse) sports car.
About 37 million vehicles are expected to be equipped with about 50 million potentially defective Takada airbags. The recall will be carried out in stages, and by 2020, cars with failed airbags are most likely to be recalled first.
Because of the Takata airbag problem, in July 2018, Changan Ford recalled more than 337,000 Mondeo winning models in one time , and because the Takada airbags were still more than one Ford.
