Microsoft 4K webcam development code leaked: Bari

Microsoft 4K webcam development code leaked: Bari

Two weeks ago, there was news that Microsoft was developing a 4K webcam with Windows Hello, specifically for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One devices. This will be their first stand-alone Windows Hello camera, which will allow users to automatically log in to their accounts on the Xbox One, just like the Kinect camera that Microsoft used in the past.

There is now more information about these devices. According to Petri.com, these cameras are currently code-named Bari, sometimes called Aruba cameras. Aruba is the code name for Surface Hub 2, and the 4K depth sensing feature on Surface Hub 2 may be used to create a series of related somatosensory and photographic functions.
These cameras can also be used with the Xboxwhether Microsoft intends to extend the Xbox from the entertainment device to become a corporate video. the conferencing solution, into corporate meeting rooms and event rooms, is an interesting topic.

Surface Hub 2 will be released in the second quarter of 2019, and we can reasonably assume that we will see the 4K camera on the same day.
