Apple Store in New York robbed for 19,000 dollars

Apple Store in New York robbed for 19,000 dollars

iPhone - the most popular device from Apple, so it's no surprise that the smartphone is popular among robbers. Apple Store stores are constantly robbed of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the last theft that occurred in New York, is different from the rest.
As the recording from the camera shows, five men in hoods went to the Apple Store in New York, wandered for a couple of minutes, then grabbed about 21 smartphones, mostly iPhone X and iPhone 8. Then the criminals escaped. The store staff was less than the robbers, so they did not even try to do something. The incident occurred on July 6 in the evening.
Robbers stole smartphones for 19,000 dollars. The record does not reveal their faces, so the police are ready to pay $ 5,000 to anyone who will provide valuable information about the incident.
Interestingly, the next day, a similar theft occurred in Fresno, California. Four men entered the Apple Store in the mall, looked around, and then stole several iPhones and iPads from the shelves. This theft is estimated as much as 27,000 dollars.
The iPhone and Mac are blocked on the shelves, so it's unlikely that the robbers will be able to sell them. However, they can deceive unsuspecting buyers and sell devices at a discounted price. Otherwise, the crime simply does not make any sense. You can disassemble the devices and sell them by parts, and even this option will bring more money than the first.
