EntroWare, a UK-based computer manufacturer, today announced Hades, their latest and most powerful Ubuntu Linux workstation computer. Hades is Entroware's first AMD-based system that is ideal for deep learning, a new area of machine learning research for businesses, science labs and animation studios.
The Entroware Hades features a second-generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper processor that supports up to 64 threads, Nvidia graphics with up to 11GB of video memory, and up to 128GB of memory and 68TB of storage. Entroware Hades workstations can be configured according to user needs, users can choose AMD Ryzen TR 1900X, 2920X, 2950X, 2970WX or 2990WX processors, and 16GB to 128GB DDR4 2933MHz memory or 32GB to 128GB DDR4 2400MHz ECC memory.
For graphics cards, users can choose Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 with 2GB of video memory, or Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 or 880 with 8GB of video memory, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti with 11GB of video memory. For storage, users will have up to 2TB of SSD as primary storage and up to 32TB SSD or up to 64TB HDD as other storage devices.
