Facebook Messenger added games with augmented reality

Facebook Company announced that Messenger now has games based on augmented reality, which can be played during video chats.
Users can play with six people at once, i.e. games will be very interactive and socializing. Initially, Messenger will have two games available.
  • Don in a reply Smile: wins, who cannot be longer than any smile.
  • Asteroids Attack: find out who manages the spacecraft better.
In the coming weeks or months, there will be more games, including volleyball, etc. Games are played thanks to AR Studio, a powerful Facebook tool for developers.
To play new games, you need to update the Messenger application to the latest version. After that, go to a dialogue, start a video call, and then click on the star icon and select a game.
Your interlocutor or interlocutors will receive a notification that they can join the game. According to Facebook, in the Messenger application in 2017 more than 17 billion video calls were made, which is twice as much as in 2016.
